Oxbow's Amy Anderson has strong 3rd round in AustraliaMELBOURNE, Australia – Amy Anderson of Oxbow, N.D., shot a 4-under-par 68 during the third round of the LPGA’s ISPS Handa Australian Open late Friday.
Anderson was tied for 24th place in the event when this edition went to press. She was 6 under with a 210 total through three rounds.
Chella Choi leads the tournament at 13-under-par after shooting a 62 in her third round. Some of the other tournament leaders were still on the course at press time.
Anderson, a former North Dakota State standout, had six birdies and two bogeys in her third round. She was 5 under for the round at one point before carding back-to-back bogeys on Holes 9 and 10.
Anderson added a birdie on the 12th hole to get back to 4 under for the round. She scored par on the final six holes of the third round.
The tournament airs on the Golf Channel at 4-8 p.m. today and 4-6 p.m. Sunday.
