UND men fall short to Montana State in basketball

GRAND FORKS – Montana State’s Flavien Davis scored a team-high 19 points as the Bobcats defeated North Dakota 78-70 on Thursday in Big Sky Conference men’s basketball.

Marcus Colbert added 16 points for the Bobcats and Paul Egwuonwu had 10 points and eight rebounds.

North Dakota was led by Aaron Anderson with 20 points and by Troy Huff, who recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

MS (12-12, 7-6 BS): Davis 4-7 10-12 19, Biglow 2-5 5-7 9, Egwuonwu 4-8 2-2 10, Colbert 4-5 6-6 16, Robison 0-3 2-2 2, Holm 4-7 0-0 10, Brown 0-2 2-2 2, Norman 4-5 1-1 10. Totals 22-42 28-32 78.
