Hogan to seek re-election in House District 21
Hogan was appointed to the House in 2009 after then-Rep. Jasper Schneider resigned to take a job as director for the U.S. Agriculture Department’s Rural Development agency.
She won election to the seat in 2010.
Before her appointment, Hogan retired as director of Cass County Social Services and has served as chairwoman of the board of Catholic Charities of North Dakota.
“North Dakota needs to assure that mental health services for adults and children and substance abuse services are accessible and affordable for everyone,” she said in a statement. “It’s an issue that doesn’t get the attention it deserves yet it impacts all of us. I want to lead an effort at tackling this issue.”
