Carolyn Nelson seeks re-election in Fargo Senate District 21

FARGO – State Sen. Carolyn Nelson, D-Fargo, announced Monday that she will seek re-election.

Nelson represents Senate District 21, which includes all of east-central Fargo.

Nelson was first elected to the Senate in 1994 and previously served in the North Dakota House of Representatives from old District 45 and the current District 21.

She serves on the government and veterans’ affairs committee, and she served on the judiciary committee during the 2013 legislative session. Nelson is also a senior lecturer emeritus of mathematics at North Dakota State University.
