Letter: Enough with the ads on TV

Are the local advertising salespeople on strike or something? I can’t figure why we are subjected to the same ads 20 to 40 times a day, day after day. I really don’t care to see the same commercials that we had to watch last July, or worse yet the same reverse mortgage ads that we were watching three years or so ago.

I am through watching local TV because I do not think these stations even care if they are losing viewers. I have had it. I can get my news and entertainment from the Internet, and I can pick and choose if I want to see ads or not.
