TMI hires Nordick as compensation analyst

Brittany Nordick has joined TMI Hospitality in Fargo as a compensation and benefits analyst.

Nordick graduated from North Dakota State University with bachelor’s degrees in sociology and child development.

She was previously a COBRA implementation manager at Discovery Benefits, Fargo.


Laurie Stuart promoted at Northwestern Bank

Laurie Stuart has been promoted to assistant vice president of operations at Northwestern Bank, Moorhead.

Stuart started her banking career as a proof operator before moving into the bank operations area. She has more than 20 years of banking experience

Dakota Supply Group hires HR director

Dakota Supply Group, Fargo, has hired Melissa Lunak as its director of human resources. She is taking over the position from Neil Smith, who retired in December.

Lunak previously worked as the director of human resources for the public school system in Detroit Lakes, Minn., and was also previously a systems operations supervisor at an electrical cooperative in North Dakota.

She has a master’s degree in business management from the University of Mary, Bismarck, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.


Village hires Williams, Schofield as counselors

The Village Business Institute of The Village Family Service Center, Fargo, has hired Rob Williams as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and a licensed professional counselor in Minnesota and a licensed addiction counselor in North Dakota.

Samantha Schofield has joined VBI as an employee assistance counselor in the Fargo office, where she will provide therapeutic services to individuals, families and couples.

Williams will provide services for clients in the VBI’s Detroit Lakes, Mahnomen and White Earth, Minn., offices.

Schofield’s areas of specialty include anxiety, communication, depression, gay/lesbian/bisexual and/or transgender issues, life and workplace stress, self-esteem and women’s concerns. She earned a master’s degree in human development and family science with couples and family therapy option from North Dakota State University.


Western State Bank promotes 3, hires 1

Western State Bank, West Fargo, has promoted Mark Jensen to vice president/

credit risk officer.

Chad Baldock and Dave Roeder have been promoted to assistant vice presidents/credit officers and team leads.

Sue Olson has joined the bank as a consumer loan processor.

Jensen has nearly 20 years of banking experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, training and credit review. He has been with Western since 2006. Originally from Dickinson, N.D., he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from North Dakota State University. He also earned a master’s degree in business administration from NDSU.

Baldock has been with Western since 2008, serving as a credit analyst and credit officer in the credit department. Originally from Mayville, N.D., Baldock earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mayville State University with a minor in accounting and specializations in real estate, finance and management. He also has a master’s degree from the University of Mary, Fargo, and is a graduate of the Dakota School of Banking.

Roeder has more than 10 years of banking experience. He has been with Western since 2003, serving in several roles at the bank, spending the last eight years as a credit analyst, business banking officer and credit officer. Originally from Milnor, N.D., he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead and he graduated from the Dakota School of Banking.

Olson has more than 12 years of banking experience focusing in loan processing. She is a native of Bottineau, N.D.


Bell State Bank & Trust promotes three people

Bell State Bank & Trust has promoted Jon Aarsvold to senior vice president/ commercial finance risk manager, Toni Maras to senior vice president/loan administration and Heidi Bye to senior vice president/credit manager.

All three work at Bell State Bank & Trust’s location at 3100 13th Ave. S., Fargo.

Originally from Blanchard, N.D., Aarsvold received bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and economics from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and has worked in the banking field for 28 years. He spent nine years as a national bank examiner, 14 years with Community First Bank/Bank of the West and has been with Bell State Bank & Trust for five years.

Originally from Moorhead, Maras has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and has been with Bell State Bank & Trust for 16 years. She previously worked as a bank examiner.

Bye is a native of Crary, N.D., and earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a major in banking and finance from UND. She has been in the banking field for 23 years and has been with Bell State Bank & Trust for nearly nine years in the correspondent banking department.


Deckmasters hires showroom manager

Paul Kamrud has joined Deckmasters in Fargo as showroom manager.

Kamrud attended Concordia College and has more than 20 years of management, customer service and sales experience in the Fargo-Moorhead area.


F-M RedHawks name director of promotions

The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have named Karl Hoium as director of promotions.

Hoium joined the RedHawks in 2008 and previously served as director of group events and community relations.

He is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and is originally from Glenwood, Minn.

Hoium previously worked for the Alexandria (Minn.) Beetles of the Northwoods League.


Labor Masters hires chief financial officer

Vickie Hendrickson has joined Labor Masters in Fargo as chief financial officer.

Hendrickson has 25 years of financial experience with various industries. She will also be leading the company franchise expansion program.

The company provides temporary employees primarily in the general labor, manufacturing and construction fields.


Two join Principal Financial Group

The Principal Financial Group has hired Josh Kraft and David Deile as financial services representatives at its Dakotas Business Center, 4875 23rd Ave. S., Fargo.

Kraft is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Business and Public Administration, Grand Forks. He served for seven years with the North Dakota Army National Guard and was most recently an assistant yard manager at Menards.

Deile has more than six years of experience working in the insurance/financial services industry, most recently as an independent broker.


Manley joins Beau Flom team at Keller Williams

Jay Manley has joined the Beau Flom team at Keller Williams Roers Realty in Fargo.

He specializes in new homebuyer sales.


Air Mechanical hires Gibb, Anderson

Air Mechanical, West Fargo, has hired David Gibb III as the service department manager and Kim Anderson as the company controller.

Gibb has seven years of management and business development experience along with over three years as a HVAC service technician/installer. Gibb is a Fargo native and he attended North Dakota State University where he studied computer science.

Anderson has 10 years of experience on active duty in the military including working at HQ AF/JAG in Washington, and with the Navy Seabees in Iraq. She also has several years of professional experience in the construction and accounting industries. Anderson is originally from Lake George, Minn., and she graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in construction management. She is a certified public account and a certified fraud examiner.


Edgewood names Ford regional vice president

The Edgewood Management Group has named Robert J. Ford Jr. as vice president for Region I.

He will oversee Edgewood’s senior living communities in East Grand Forks and Stephen, Minn., Fargo and Minot, N.D., and Brookings, Sisseton and Watertown, all in South Dakota.

Ford previously served for four years as executive director of Edgewood Meadow Wind, Casper, Wyo.

He received a bachelor’s degree in health administration from Montana State University, Billings, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Mary.


Personnel changes at Industrial Builders

Industrial Builders, Fargo, has announced several personnel changes.

Kent Sand has been named vice president of estimating, Troy Erickson has been named vice president of engineering, Gary Doroff and Brian Meyer have been elected to the board of directors and James Reagan has joined the company as the controller.

Sand has been the chief estimating engineer at Industrial Builders since 2001 and was previously a project coordinator. He has degrees from North Dakota State University and the North Dakota State School of Science. He has been with Industrial Builders since 1986.

Erickson was previously the senior project manager and project coordinator. He has a degree in construction management from NDSU and has been with the company since 1990.

Doroff is a superintendent at Industrial Builders with a diverse background in heavy construction and he has been with the company since 1981. Meyer is a project manager and estimator in milling, demolition and earthwork. He has a degree in construction engineering from NDSU and has been with Industrial Builders since 2002.

Reagan is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and has been controller for several construction firms, most recently with Tulsa Dynaspan, Broken Arrow, Okla.


JDP Automation hires developer, engineer

JDP Automation, Moorhead, has hired Chad Eddy as a software developer and Brian Fix as a controls engineer.

Eddy graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He was previously employed with PRACS/Cetero Research.

Fix graduated from NDSU with a bachelor’s degree a electrical engineering. He was previously employed with Ulteig as a design engineer.


Berg hired as precision systems agronomist

Peterson Farms Seed, Harwood, N.D., has hired Nolan Berg as a precision systems agronomist.

Berg is from Karlstad, Minn., and graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in turf grass management and a master’s degree in plant sciences.

He was previously employed at Turf Tamers/H2O Sprinklers and the Fargo Country Club.


Kerlin named Video Arts senior video editor

Caleb Kerlin has joined Video Arts Studios in Fargo as senior video editor.

Kerlin has a diverse background in video arts including TV commercials, corporate videos and feature films. He previously freelanced as a video editor on feature films in Los Angeles, Hawaii and Indiana, and he has won numerous awards including Telly Awards and Berkeley Film Festival.


AgCountry Farm Credit Services hires two

AgCountry Farm Credit Services has hired Andrew Grothmann as a loan officer at AgCountry Farm Credit Services in Ada. Minn. Laura Rotenberger recently joined AgCountry Farm Credit Services in the Lisbon, N.D., office as a loan service specialist.

Grothmann previously worked as a loan officer intern at the AgCountry office in Hillsboro, N.D. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics.

Rotenberger previously worked in customer service/operations at First State Bank of North Dakota, Lisbon. She graduated from NDSU with a bachelor’s degree in health communication and a minor in agricultural communication and management communication.
