Teen injured after snowmobile crash in Hunter

HUNTER – A 16-year-old boy was airlifted to a Fargo hospital Tuesday morning after a snowmobile crash near here.

The boy was riding the snowmobile near Northern Cass School when it rolled over, said Sgt. Tara Morris of the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

Emergency crews were called to the scene about 7:40 a.m., and the boy was flown to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, Morris said.

The boy suffered injuries that were not life threatening. His name was not released.

Morris said the boy may have been riding the snowmobile to school.
