Two-vehicle crash kills 1SOUTH HEART, N.D. – A Dickinson, N.D., man died following a two-vehicle crash near here Friday afternoon, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Kenneth Jurgens, 57, was driving a pickup eastbound about 4:14 p.m. Friday on Old Highway 10 from the Belfield area on his way to Dickinson when he did not stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Old Highway 10 and 121st Avenue, the Highway Patrol said.
The pickup collided with a Freightliner truck driven by Jonathon Racanelli, 26, of Castle Rock., Colo.
The Highway Patrol said the Freightliner was traveling about 35 mph on 121st Ave.
Jurgens was killed in the crash. Racanelli was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
