Dragons starting guard Riewer expected to miss at least a month with a broken handMOORHEAD – Minnesota State Moorhead point guard Jordan Riewer is expected to miss 4 to 6 weeks after breaking his shooting hand in Friday’s overtime home loss against Upper Iowa, according to Dragons head coach Chad Walthall.
The injury could cost Riewer the remainder of the season.
Riewer suffered the injury in the first half of that game against the Peacocks. The 6-foot-2 junior started the first 19 games this season, averaging 11.1 points and 3.5 assists per game. Riewer is shooting 46 percent (34 of 74) from 3-point range and 94 percent (50 of 53) from the foul line.
