Werlinger, Erickson earn awards for sales

Insure Forward has named Larry Werlinger as the top sales producer for 2013 and Jon Erickson has been named a silver producer. Both are insurance sales agents at Insure Forward, Fargo.

This is the second year Werlinger has earned the top producer award. Erickson has earned sales production awards from Insure Forward for the past six years.


Bank Forward board of directors elects Hart

Tory Hart has been elected to serve on Bank Forward’s board of directors.

Hart is the bank’s senior vice president of lending and is market president at Bank Forward, Carrington, N.D.

He is a graduate of North Dakota State University and he lives in Valley City, N.D.


Coaches Choice names Top Gun Award winner

Coaches Choice Corporate and Athletic Apparel has awarded its 2013 Top Gun Award to Scott Peterson.

The award is given each year to the salesperson who achieves the greatest success in attaining goals set each year involving sales, new business generation and highest levels of customer service.

Peterson has been with Coaches Choice since 2003 and works out of the Fargo office at 4141 38th St. S.


New York Life names Hartman agent of year

Steven R. Hartman, an agent with the North Dakota General Office of New York Life Insurance Co., has been named the North Dakota Agent of the Year for 2013.

He has been a New York Life agent for 34 years and this is the sixth time he has receive the award for outstanding service to clients.


Leslie reappointed to Staybridge Suites group

The InterContinental Hotels Group has reappointed Norman Leslie, president of National Hospitality Services, Fargo, to the IHG Staybridge Suites Committee.

Leslie will participate on a national level with the committee to develop and implement strategies that enhance the needs of extended stay guests and travelers seeking a residential style hotel.


HoDo named to AAA list of top restaurants

The HoDo Restaurant in Fargo has earned a spot on AAA’s 2014 list of Four Diamond restaurants.

The AAA Four and Five Diamond ratings are the travel authority’s highest designations for hotels and restaurants.

The HoDo made the Four Diamond list for the first time in 2013, becoming the first North Dakota restaurant to ever make the annual list.

It remains the only Four or Five Diamond establishment – hotel or restaurant – in the Dakotas.

AAA Four and Five Diamond establishments make up just 3.9 percent and 0.3 percent, respectively, of the total 59,000 AAA approved and diamond rated hotels and restaurants throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
