Two Moorhead men arrested following report of possible DUI in south FargoFARGO – Two people were arrested Thursday after police were notified of a possible DUI in south Fargo.
Officers responded to a call at 5:30 p.m. of someone who appeared to be drunk getting into a car and driving off near the 1600 block of 38th Street South, but were unable to immediately locate the vehicle.
Dispatch contacted officers about 15 minutes later about a vehicle matching the description that was involved in several accidents.
Police were able to find the vehicle near the 1200 block of 18th Avenue South, where it had left the roadway, went over the curb and struck a snow-bank.
Officers located the driver, Jason Norman Olson, 43, and the passenger, Jeremy Scott Olson 37, both of Moorhead, who appeared to have suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
Jason Olson was later arrested for one count of DUI and a second count for refusing the DUI field test. Jeremy Olson was arrested for an unrelated warrant.
Jason Olson’s vehicle appeared to have hit two cars in the roadway, as well as several immobile objects.
A third accident is under investigation to determine if it was related.
