Letter: Keep politics out of climate changeChuck Fuller’s letter to the editor in the Jan. 15 Forum seems to imply that climate change is somehow a political issue.
Science has nothing to do with politics. Science is based on fact, not opinion. Fuller will have to excuse me if I choose to believe what I hear from people who have dedicated their lives to the study of science instead of listening to other people’s opinions.
We have to keep in mind that it is global climate change and not Park Rapids, Minn., climate change or, for that matter, even a place with the global prominence of say, Fargo. Global means the entire Earth.
In my opinion, we are better served by trying to prepare for the future rather than wait until it is too late to act.
