LETTER: Kerry insults Vietnam veterans
John Kerry, who has accomplished absolutely nothing as Secretary of State, again insults us Vietnam veterans. During the Vietnam War, Kerry turned against his fellow soldiers and sided with the Jane Fonda crowd, condemning America instead of the communist Viet Cong and the brutal communist government of North Vietnam.
Now as Secretary of State, he promises Vietnam, a country that murdered and tortured American soldiers, millions of American tax payer dollars. (He’s also promised American money to rag-tag Islamic countries who hate and want to kill Americans). There are homeless vets, there are crippled vets, and there are a lot of veterans who are being ignored by their government. Kerry and his Democratic friends also want to cut back retirement pay to veterans. And he still promises billions to people who hate us? There is something wrong with this picture.
Kerry keeps spending American tax payer money on futile trips to the Middle East and to other parts of the world. He calls it "hard work." I call it an undeserved vacation...on tax payer money. Kerry, thanks to a convenient marriage, is worth billions. If he wants to travel around the world, let him do it on his own dime.
Instead of pretending to be big shot diplomat, he should still be in jail for being a traitor to his country during the Vietnam War. That at least is this veteran's opinion.
