Fargo North head football coach Kalina resigns

FARGO – Fargo North’s head football coach Kelly Kalina has resigned from that position at the school.

Kalina’s resignation was announced Friday according to a press release sent by North activities director Travis Christensen.

In the release, Kalina is thanked for his six years of service as head coach of the Spartans.

During his time at North, Kalina had three teams qualify for the state playoffs and coached a total of 14 all-state players.

The release states that the position will be posted to applicants in the spring.
