Fargo Tire honors 6 for performance, service

Fargo Tire Service has recognized six employees for their performance and service.

Rick Pavlicek was named salesperson of year. He has been with Fargo Tire for five years.

Travas Rheault received the Dean Rosler Award for the employee that most exemplifies good spirit, the most caring and best attitude who always has a smile and is dependable. Rheault is a retread technician at the Main Avenue location and has worked for Fargo Tire for 11 years.

Ben Bates is the employee of the year at the Main Avenue location. He is an alignment technician and has worked for Fargo Tire for eight years; and

E Hunter is the employee of the year at the 32nd Avenue South location. Hunter is a tire technician and has worked for Fargo Tire for seven years.

Mike Dow has been recognized for 10 years of service, and Terry Miller for 15 years of service. Dow is the sales manager and Miller is a salesman, both at the Main Avenue location.

Essentia Health-Fosston earns honor

Essentia Health, Fosston, Minn., was named one of the Top Performing Rural Hospitals in the United States by the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health and iVantage Health Analytics.

Essentia Health, Fosston, was one of just four Minnesota hospitals recognized for overall excellence. The Fosston staff also was recognized for excellence in patient satisfaction and excellence in quality categories.

American Family agents earn sales awards

Brent Berg and John Eidsness of Moorhead have earned the AFLIC award from American Family Insurance for outstanding sales of life insurance products offered by the company’s subsidiary, American Family Life Insurance Co.

Berg has been an agent for American Family since 2013. His office is located at 1702 30th Ave. S., Moorhead. Eidsness has been an agent for American Family since 1996. His office is at 501 Main Ave, Moorhead.

Eide Bailly ranked 16th in nation for internships

Eide Bailly recently was ranked 16th nationwide in Vault’s annual Best Overall Internships ranking, which rates internships in all industries across the country.

Vault surveyed almost 8,000 current and former interns and asked them to rate their internship programs in five areas: quality of life; compensation and benefits; interview process; career development; and full-time employment prospects. Eide Bailly rated higher than the average on four of the five areas.

Edina Realty Foundation earns Spare Key award

Spare Key has named the Edina Realty Foundation the 2014 recipient of the Derian Keech Parade of Kindness Award.

Named after the son of Spare Key’s founders, the award is given each year to a company, organization or individual that supports the Minnesota-based program that provides rental and mortgage assistance to families in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin with seriously ill or critically injured children in the hospital.

Jacobson receives Jim Fay Award from FMAAR

The Fargo Moorhead Area Association of Realtors has presented Willy Jacobson of Park Co. Realtors with the Jim Fay Award.

The award is given annually to a Realtor who represents the spirit of honesty, integrity and ethics in business dealings, signifying the exemplary level of professionalism and spirit that Fay brought to the local real estate industry.

Jacobson has been a licensed Realtor with Park Co. since 1982.

Collections bureau honors 1, promotes 2

The Credit Collections Bureau of North Dakota has named Mark Kloster, Fargo, the client services representative of the month in December.

The bureau also has promoted Marni Presley and Kenny Ray, both of Fargo, to collection representatives.

Bernier appointed to Heartland Trust board

Heartland Trust Co., Fargo, has appointed Sheryl Bernier to its board of directors.

Bernier has been with Heartland Trust since it was established in 1990. As a vice president, her responsibilities include operations, compliance, internal audits and human recourses.

Fargo Air Museum elects board members

The Fargo Air Museum has elected new members to its board of directors. Those elected include: Alex Macdonald, chairman; Robert Miller, vice chairman; Rex Hammarback, past chairman; Francis Butler, treasurer; Cindy Schreiber-Beck, secretary; and Dick Springer, member at large. Other members of the board are Jake Gust, Earlyne Hector, Sherry Heyer, Tim McPherson, Brian Quigley, Darrol Schroeder, Jon Scraper, Jim Sweeney and Dick Walstad.

Dwyer named broker at Prudential Premier

Lyn Dwyer has been named to the role of broker at Prudential Premier Real Estate, Fargo. She previously was the managing broker.

Dwyer has worked for Prudential Premier for eight years and has worked in the real estate business for more than 35 years.

She will continue to work with the sales team, manage the company’s day-to-day business and handle all aspects of the brokerage.
