H2M in Fargo adds five employees to staff

H2M, Fargo, has hired Erika Johnson as a specialist in business development, Hannah Reichel as an account assistant, Shelby Sayre as an account and media assistant, Lee Schwartz as a senior account supervisor and digital team lead and Kevin Tobosa as a creative director.

Johnson has previously run two businesses, served as the executive director of a non-profit organization and started her own non-profit organization. She has also created videos internationally for National Geographic, The World Bank and Royal Caribbean Cruises. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Reichel is a graduate of North Dakota State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations, advertising and agricultural communications. She is originally from Maple Grove, Minn.

Sayre was previously a media planner and buyer at Vladimir Jones and a marketing coordinator with Vail Resorts, both in Colorado. Sayre earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcast and mass communications technologies from NDSU.

Schwartz was previously a client director at Sundog Interactive and also spent five seasons as the general manager of the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, and was also an account manager at CableOne Advertising. Schwartz earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from MSUM.

Tobosa has 19 years of experience in business and marketing, with specialties in creative, branding and visual strategy. He has developed successful digital and creative strategies and campaigns for various industries including retail, technology, health care, financial, agriculture and industrial.


Bell State Bank & Trust promotes one, hires 3

Bell State Bank & Trust has promoted Jim Martin to vice president/internal audit manager and hired Becky Walen as vice president/senior wealth management adviser and Jason Bolluyt and Kathryn Anderson as credit officers, all at the 3100 13th Ave. S. location in Fargo.

A Moorhead native, Martin earned an accounting degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead and has been with the bank for 24 years.

Walen, a native of Elk River, Minn., earned a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Mary and a master’s degree in family financial planning from North Dakota State University. She has more than 15 years of experience, most recently in wealth management at U.S. Bank.

Bolluyt is originally from Hancock, Minn. He earned a bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University and a degree from the graduate school of banking at the University of Colorado. He has worked in the banking field for almost seven years, most recently at First International Bank & Trust.

Originally from Moorhead, Anderson earned a business management degree from Concordia College, and she has worked in banking for five years, most recently at Bremer Bank.


Brusch joins Starion’s Urban Plains branch

Rebecca Brusch has joined Starion Financial at the bank’s Urban Plains location in Fargo.

Brusch earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science at Ripon (Wis.) College and has several years of sales, computer science and IT experience.


Ulteig hires Veldhouse as marketing manager

Ulteig has hired Darrel Veldhouse as marketing manager. He will work at Ulteig’s Fargo office.

Veldhouse has more than 17 years of experience in marketing and management. He most recently worked for a financial institution as the marketing project manager of digital media.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics and mass communications at North Dakota State University.


Booth joins engineering firm as project engineer

David Booth has joined Applied Engineering as a project engineer. He will provide engineering services in the Fargo area.

Booth earned bachelor and master degrees in mechanical engineering at North Dakota State University.


Dr. Olson joins podiatry at Essentia Fargo

Dr. Bradley Olson has joined the podiatry department at Essentia Health’s South University Clinic in Fargo.

Olson earned his medical degree from Des Moines (Iowa) University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He completed a three-year residency in comprehensive foot and ankle surgery at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.


NDSU foundation hires major gift officers

The North Dakota State University Development Foundation/Alumni Association has hired Randy Schmeling and Jared Miller as major gift officers.

Major gift officers work with NDSU alumni, corporate partners and friends to secure support for campus-wide priorities that include scholarships, academic programs, endowed chairs, facility renovation, new facilities and other campus priorities.

Schmeling, a 1978 NDSU graduate who majored in business economics, has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He most recently served as vice president for banking business at BNC National Bank, Bismarck. Schmeling also has been active with NDSU as a Bismarck-Mandan alumni chapter leader, promoter of fine arts and Alumni Association board member.

Miller, a 2004 NDSU graduate who majored in business, has more than seven years of experience as a sales professional. Since 2010, he worked at US Bank Private Client Group as trust relationship manager and assistant vice president. Miller has been active with NDSU, serving on the Graduates of the Last Decade Council and the Alumni Association’s planning committee.


Absolute Marketing hires Johnson, Larson

Absolute Marketing Group in Fargo has hired Loren Johnson as a graphic designer and Amy Larson as traffic coordinator.

Johnson is a native of New London, Minn., and he earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design at Concordia College.

Originally from Richfield, Minn., Larson is a graduate of North Dakota State University with degrees in public relations and advertising and journalism.


Cornerstone Bank names operations assistant

Karen Schadler has joined Cornerstone Bank in Fargo as an operations assistant.

Schadler has more than 25 years of bank operations experience.


Lafarge North America hires 2 in Valley City

Lafarge North America, Valley City, N.D., has hired Andrea Larson as payroll and trucking administrator and Alison Sorensen as administrative assistant.

Larson is a graduate of Globe University with a degree in accounting.

Sorensen is a graduate of Valley City) State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management.


White joins Onsharp as software developer

Onsharp, Fargo, has hired Shane White as a software developer.

White earned a bachelor’s degree in new media and web design from North Dakota State University and has more than seven years of experience working with computers.


Edeen Family Dentistry adds associate dentist

Edeen Family Dentistry in Dilworth has hired Dr. Clarissa Sparkman as an associate dentist.

Dr. Sparkman is a Fargo native, and she earned a bachelor’s degree in dietetics at North Dakota State University.

She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Sparkman previously worked as a public health dentist in Fargo.


Fitz hired as VP of business lending

Town & Country Credit Union has hired Kevin Fitz as vice president of business lending. Fitz works at the credit union’s office at 1501 32nd Ave. S., Fargo.

Fitz has more than 25 years of banking experience and has spent the previous seven years of his career as a commercial lender in West Fargo.

He grew up in West St. Paul, Minn., and he attended St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minn., and the American Institute of Banking where he obtained diplomas in law, banking and commercial lending.


Courtyard by Marriott names assistant GM

The Courtyard by Marriott in Moorhead has named Matt Zimmerman the assistant general manager.

Zimmerman joined the hotel in December. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in hospitality and tourism management.

A native of Minnetonka, Minn., Zimmerman has lived in the Fargo-Moorhead area for five years and has 10 years of customer service experience, including the past two years in the hospitality industry.


Oachs joins Western State Bank as AVP

Matthew Oachs has joined Western State Bank in West Fargo as assistant vice president/retail banking manager.

Oachs has more than four years of banking experience. He previously served as a branch manager at Wells Fargo, Moorhead. Originally from Herman, Minn., Oachs earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Minnesota State University Moorhead.


Four new employees at Pedigree Technologies

Pedigree Technologies, Fargo, has hired Troy Anderson as a carrier account specialist (Verizon), Tarun Gambhir as a software and web application developer, and Samar Abu-Khashan and Bryan Swang as support specialists.

Anderson is a native of Dilworth and has more than eight years of experience with Verizon, previously working as a store manager.

Gambhir is moving from an intern position to a full-time software/web application developer. He has a degree in computer science from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He has two years of experience in software development.

Abu-Khashan has six years of experience in tech support, formerly working at the IT help desk at Sanford Health. She has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Al-Quds University in Jerusalem, Palestine.

Swang was previously an IT support specialist at The Village Family Service Center. Swang has a degree in information technology from Minnesota State Community and Technical College.


Vanity’s corporate office hires Gregoire, Hahn

Erin Gregoire has rejoined Vanity in Fargo as payroll coordinator, and Janet Hahn has joined Vanity as an accounts payable clerk.

Gregoire has payroll and finance experience from RDO, Microsoft (Archway Marketing Service) and Vanity (2010-2012). She has a bachelor’s degree in general management and a minor in international business, business administration from Minnesota state University Mankato.

Hahn previously worked in accounting at Valerie Axt CPA, Titan Machinery and Saskatchewan Mutual Insurance Co. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.


Peterson Farms Seed adds four employees

Peterson Farms Seed, Harwood, N,D., announces that Micah Erickson, Cody Hendrickson, AJ Martin, and Garrett Rosenberry have joined the company on the warehouse and processing teams.

Erickson is a native of Walcott, N.D., and was previously employed at Sheyenne Dakota, Inc., West Fargo.

Hendrickson graduated from the North Dakota State College of Science. He previously worked at Pizza Ranch in Wahpeton, N.D.

Martin worked for the North Dakota Grain Inspection Service for six years, and also was employed at Interstate Seed Co., West Fargo.

Rosenberry is originally from Sheldon, N.D. He was previously employed at Riverside Building Center, Lisbon, N.D., and as an electrician at JDP Electric, Fargo.


Wahl named office assistant at Fraser

Sherril Wahl has accepted the position of business office assistant with Fraser, Ltd., Fargo.

Wahl earned an associate’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead.


TMI Hospitality hires Fish as financial analyst

William Fish has joined TMI Hospitality, Fargo, as a financial analyst.

Fish graduated from the University of Mary in Fargo with a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in business management.

He served as internal auditor and budget specialist for the Sisseton Wahpeton Sioux Tribe in Sisseton, S.D., and as a business operational coordinator for Sanford Health in Fargo.
