Two arrested in Fargo following Horace Casey’s robbery

HORACE, N.D. – A man and woman were arrested in Fargo shortly after officers believe they robbed the Casey’s General Store here Tuesday afternoon.

According to a news release from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, a silent alarm called police to the store at 112 Main St. shortly after 4 p.m., when a man entered the store brandishing a weapon.

He fled with an undisclosed amount of money, officials said in the news release.

Minutes after the robbery, Red River Regional Dispatch officers put out a description of the suspect vehicle. At 4:14 p.m., Fargo police officers spotted it in the 4900 block of 44th Avenue South in Fargo and stopped the vehicle, Cass County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Mitch Burris said.

A handful of employees and customers were in the store at the time of the robbery. No one was injured, Burris said.

Police arrested 24-year-old Randi Marie Fritze of Fargo and 19-year-old Rodrick Christian Dida of Fargo.

The two are being held at the Cass County Jail pending charges.
