Letter: Kindness will be paid forwardMy 7-year-old son went to Wal-Mart last week to buy a toy for which he had been saving his allowance. At some point in the store, he took his wallet out of his pocket and didn’t have it when he got to the registers. We retraced his steps but couldn’t find it. Today he got a package in the mail – no note, no return address – just his wallet with his $20 inside.
Also, while out Christmas shopping last month, I went to the movie theater to buy gift cards. I was given gift cards in the amount I asked for but was also given my money back.
When I asked why, I was told that an “anonymous donor” had given the theater money to pay for the next few incoming patrons. To the kind individuals who found my son’s wallet and paid for the movie tickets:
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. You have made lasting impressions on our family. We will be “paying it forward.”
