N.D. family injured in I-94 crash near Barnesville, Minn.

BARNESVILLE, Minn. – A family of five from Dickinson, N.D., was injured in a rollover accident near here Thursday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 94 near mile marker 26 around 12:20 p.m.

Nicholas Coulson, 34, was heading west on interstate when he lost control of his Ford F-150 pickup he was using to pull a 24-foot-trailer. The pickup went into the north ditch and rolled.

Roads were icy at the time of the crash, the patrol said.

Coulson and his wife, Amy Coulson, 35, along with their three children, 11-year-old Darnell Burch, 3-year-old Laken Coulson and 4-year-old Channelle-Lynn Coulson all sustained non-life threatening injuries. The family was taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, the patrol said.

The crash is still under investigation by the patrol.
