Firefighters battle dangerous cold in fire near Wahpeton Bobcat plantWAHPETON, N.D. - Firefighters here cleared the scene of an apparent propane tank fire near the Bobcat plant shortly before 8 a.m.
The fire, which firefighters were called to at around 5:35 a.m. Monday, started just north of the Bobcat plant.
Firefighters worked in temperatures 24 degrees below, with dangerous wind chills of 48 below, to put out the blaze.
Officials said they got the fire out within about an hour and a half of it being reported.
