Fargo, West Fargo schools cancel classes Monday due to extreme coldFARGO -- Fargo and West Fargo public schools will not hold classes or activities on Monday because of the extreme cold.
On Friday, Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton canceled all Minnesota public schools because of the harsh weather. Last time Minnesota canceled school because of extreme cold was in 1997.
North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple said on Friday he would leave the decision of whether to close schools up to each local school district in the state.
