Birch’s bucket at the buzzer helps Mustangs clip Dragons

MARSHALL, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State’s Vinard Birch hit a layup as time expired to give the Mustangs a 70-68 victory over Minnesota State University Moorhead in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference men’s basketball Saturday.

Jordan Riewer and Urbane Bingham each record 17 points for the Dragons (9-3, 5-3 NSIC).
