West Fargo police respond to report of convenience store robbery

WEST FARGO – Police are looking for a lone suspect who robbed a Stop-n-Go store here Friday night.

The Red River Regional Dispatch reported the robbery at Stop-n-Go, 524 Sheyenne St., just after 8 p.m. Friday.

Dispatch said a male entered the store and “possibly had a handgun.” The man took money from the register and left in a vehicle in an unknown direction.

Police used a K-9 unit in an attempt to track the suspect.

Officers said an undetermined amount of cash was stolen.

No one was injured.

As of press time, officers were reviewing surveillance tapes and expected to release a description of the incident late Friday night.
