Business digest (Jan. 4)ND Autism Center completes new building
The North Dakota Autism Center will mark the completion of its new building at 647 13th Ave. E., West Fargo, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The 6,700-square-foot building includes The Puzzle Piece Childcare Center for children of all abilities. Other programs offered at the center include the AuSome Kids day and early intervention programs, behavior services and licensed in-home family support.
The NDAC was founded in 2006 by Sandy Smith and her family of West Fargo. Sandy and her husband, Gene, have an 11-year-old son with autism.
Employment law topic of FMHRA meeting
The Fargo-Moorhead Human Resource Association monthly educational meeting will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ramada Plaza and Suites, Fargo.
Lisa Edison-Smith of the Vogel Law Firm and Nora Kaitfors of Jackson Lewis will present an update on employment laws.

Fraser seeking holiday ornament donations
Fraser, Ltd. is seeking donations of new or gently used holiday tree ornaments, tree skirts, tree tops and silk flowers.
Donations can be dropped off at 2902 S. University Dr., Fargo. Holiday decoration donations will be accepted throughout the year.

Podoll retires from Rick Electric after 23 years
Clint Podoll is retiring from Rick Electric, Moorhead.
Podoll has worked for the electrical contractor for almost 23 years as a project manager and electrical estimator.
