3 injured in U.S. 2 accident near LakotaThree people were slightly injured in a three-vehicle accident near Lakota, N.D., around 2 p.m. Friday, the state Highway Patrol said.
Janice Moen, 75, Michigan, N.D., was in a Chevy Impala heading south on state Highway 1 and attempting to cross U.S. Highway 2 when the accident occurred.
Perry Gagnon, 58, and Traci Gagnon, 23, Grand Forks, were heading west on U.S. 2 at that time in a Chevy K-10 pickup. Moen's car struck their pickup.
Behind the Gagnons were Gloria Corneillie, 60, and Eugene Corneillie, 65, Grand Forks. They were unable to brake their Toyota Rav-4 in time and struck Moen's car.
Moen and the Corneillies were taken to Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake where their minor injuries were treated.
