Icy roads cause handful of accidents Christmas morning in Fargo-Moorhead areaFARGO – Scattered icy conditions this morning caused up to five accidents and a number of cars to slide into the ditch.
North Dakota State Highway Patrol troopers responded to a number of dispatch calls within about 15 minutes this morning, but no injuries were reported, Sgt. Shannon Henke said.
Henke encouraged drivers to reduce speeds and avoid using cruise control while traveling today.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation is out sanding and clearing roads, Henke said.
