Letter: Wyndmere city leaders step upDuring the winter season, it’s hard for anyone to be pleased with the snow removal done in their town. The residents of any town in the Upper Midwest are at the mercy of the local city employees to do what has to be done.
But in Wyndmere, my hometown, we haven’t had a city maintenance person for quite a few months, so when it comes to snow removal, you would think we would be in trouble with the current weather conditions. But the City Council members have taken it upon themselves to be in charge of snow removal, whether it be after their own jobs are done or whenever possible.
So this Christmas season, the people of Wyndmere should be appreciative of all the effort made by these residents who have been elected to be on the City Council.
This winter already has been trying at times, so as this season continues, give these people the patience they deserve.
If your street isn’t cleaned as soon as you would like, maybe you should run for City Council, and I will vote for you.
A blessed Christmas to all.
