Icy road causes 2-car crash in Fargo

FARGO – Traffic slowed on 10th Street around 5 p.m. Sunday when two vehicles were involved in a crash that left debris sprinkled in the intersection at NP Avenue.

One car was northbound on Tenth Street, and the other was eastbound, according to Dan Hansen with the Fargo Police Department.

β€œIt sounds like the northbound car may have run the red light,” he said.

As a precautionary measure, one driver was taken to a local hospital via ambulance. The other driver was unharmed.

The accident was one of many that the police department responded to Sunday due to icy roads.

The accident is still under investigation.
