Style Profile: Businessman concentrates on fit, professional look
The 31-year-old sales and marketing professional shops once every three or four months and buys whatever catches his eye. He concentrates on clothes that fit well and look professional.
I spotted the fourth generation Wimmer’s Diamonds family member at West Acres in a dark, professional ensemble.
Describe your style. My business attire is comfortable yet professional.
What are you wearing today? Vest from Target, Banana Republic pants, a shirt from Macy’s and a watch from Wimmer’s.
Who’s your style icon? I like anyone with that “Mad Men” style, that classic business look.
What’re your style rules? I make sure my shoes and my belt match and my socks are the right color.
I also like to avoid suit jackets because they’re too constricting.
Where do you shop? Macy’s, Banana Republic, and every once in a while, Costco has some good shirts.
If money were no object, what fashion-related item would you buy? A really nice pair of brown leather shoes or a watch. I have a watch collection.
What would people be surprised to learn you have in your closet? I still have some track T-shirts from junior and senior high. I still wear them around the house.
