Six new employees at Cornerstone Bank

Cornerstone Bank in Fargo has hired Nicole Nogowski as a loan document specialist, Matt Larson and Kylie Ashworth as tellers, Linsey Stancyk as a customer service/lead teller, David Hammer as an operations assistant/participations and Jane DeRoo as a mortgage loan underwriter.

Nogowski has more than 11 years of experience in banking, Larson has five years of customer service and cash-handling experience and Ashworth has more than two years of customer service experience, including one year as a teller.

Stancyk has more than four years of customer service, cash-handling and supervisory experience, Hammer has more than two years of experience in banking and DeRoo has more than 21 years of experience as a mortgage underwriter.


Bell State Bank & Trust promotes 2, hires one

Bell State Bank and Trust in Fargo has promoted Gail Blair to vice president/ trust officer and Jennifer Hill to vice president/ relationship manager. Lora Stebleton has been hired as commercial documentation team lead.

Originally from Hitterdal, Minn., Blair earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Concordia College and has worked in the banking field for 12 years.

Hill is originally from Tenney, Minn., and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead and obtained the certified retirement services professional retirement designation through ICB. She has worked in the banking industry for 11 years, with nearly eight years in the retirement division with Bell State Bank & Trust.

Stebleton is a native of Wishek, N.D., and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from North Dakota State University and a master’s degree in leadership and management from Concordia University, St. Paul. She has nine years of experience in the financial industry and was previously the assistant consumer lending manager at General Mills Federal Credit Union, Minnetonka, Minn.


JD Legal Planning hires Astrup and Priebe

JD Legal Planning, Fargo, has hired Stephen Astrup as an associate attorney and Alisa Priebe as a legal secretary.

Astrup is from Dilworth and completed an undergraduate degree at Concordia College. He received a juris doctorate at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, Minneapolis. Astrup will focus on estate planning and farm and business succession planning.

Priebe is originally from Wahpeton, N.D., and graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in English. She started her career at Integreon Managed Solutions and later worked as a legal secretary at Vogel Law Firm and Fredrikson & Byron.


Allen McNee rejoins Integreon in Fargo

Allen McNee has rejoined Integreon, Fargo, as document services global head of business development.

McNee worked for Integreon from 2010 to 2012, first as senior vice president of enterprise sales, and then as global head of legal services.

McNee has 30 years of sales experience and prior to joining Integreon held executive management positions at Merrill Corp. and most recently as president of Applied Discovery.


Tax-Xperts in Fargo adds CPA Johnson

Seth Johnson, a certified public accountant, has joined Tax-Xperts, 3264 20th St. S., Fargo.

He has more than 11 years of experience providing tax, accounting and consulting services.

Johnson graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy.


O’Kelly’s hires Walsh as banquet director

Lindsey Walsh has been hired as the banquet director at O’Kelly’s on Main Avenue, Fargo.

Walsh earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and minored in leadership at Minnesota State University Moorhead.


The Chamber hires marketing manager

Danielle Teigen has joined the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber staff as the communications and marketing manager.

She graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and management communication and a master’s degree in mass communication.

Teigen previously worked at Ulteig as the senior communications strategist.


FirstLink names Vining new volunteer director

David Vining has been named the new volunteer center director at FirstLink, Fargo.

He is originally from White Bear Lake, Minn., and he graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in political science and a minor in business administration.


Neurosurgeon, PA join Essentia clinics

Dr. Abdul Baker, a neurosurgeon, has joined Essentia Health’s 32nd Avenue Clinic, Fargo, and Nikki Welk, a physician assistant, has joined the Family Medicine Department at the Essentia Health West Fargo Clinic.

Baker earned a medical degree from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He completed a residency in neurosurgery and a complex spine fellowship at the University of Louisville, Ky. Most recently he completed a second fellowship in spine and peripheral nerve surgery at Johns Hopkins University Department of Neurosurgery, Baltimore.

Welk has a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and a bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from the University of Mary. Bismarck.


Nancy Olstad joins TMI as a payroll specialist

Nancy Olstad has joined TMI Hospitality, Fargo, as a payroll specialist.

Olstad previously worked in project management at Great Plains Software and Microsoft, both in Fargo.


Cline named AE2S chief development officer

Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services has hired Gary Cline as chief development officer. The company has office locations throughout the Midwest and in Montana and Utah.

Cline has more than 30 years of water and wastewater experience from Malcolm Pirnie, one of the leading water and environmental consulting firms in the nation, and ARCADIS US, a global engineering and consulting firm.

He served in various roles including director of planning and process engineering, strategic business development leader and director of technical knowledge and innovation (water).

Cline is an environmental engineer certified by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers. He has a master’s degree in civil and sanitary engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University.


Hospice of Red River Valley promotes Gemar

Hospice of the Red River Valley, Fargo, has promoted Deb Gemar to director of community relations.

Gemar was previously a development officer for the organization, and now oversees fundraising and marketing initiatives.

Originally from Oakes, N.D., she is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. She joined HRRV in 2010.


Red River Wellness hires coordinator

Kari Lugo has joined Red River Wellness as a wellness coordinator in the south Fargo location at 3411 Fiechtner Drive.

There will be an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 13 for patients to meet Lugo and learn about her role at Red River Wellness.

National Hospitality Services hires three

National Hospitality Services, Fargo, has named Larry LaMont as vice president of operations. The company has also hired Sarah Koustrop as director of human resources and Cathleen Plettl as assistant for human resources.

LaMont has more than 30 years of hospitality experience and knowledge of hotel operations. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in business economics and psychology. He also has the certified hotel administrator designation.

Koustrop has more than 10 years of human resource experience with specialties in employee relations. Plettl has more than 12 years of administrative experience ranging from nonprofit to general office support and a degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.


Peterson Farms Seed hires Garrett, Hepper

Peterson Farms Seed, Harwood, N.D., has hired Kayla Garrett as a grower service representative and Gene Hepper has joined the company as an accounting assistant.

Garrett grew up near Blanchard, N.D., where she helped with farming operations. After graduating from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management, she was employed with the North Dakota Tourism Department and AAA Travel.

Hepper attended the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and Arizona State University, where he studied accounting/finance and psychology. He previously worked in the hospitality and medical industries, most recently as controller at SB&B Foods. He is originally from Rugby, N.D., and lived for 20 years in Mesa, Ariz., before returning to Fargo nine years ago.


Allyson Ishaug promoted at Boys & Girls Club

Allyson Ishaug has been promoted to program coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley.

She is originally from Moorhead and graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in human development and family science and a double minor in women and gender studies and sociology. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a master’s degree in social work.


Western State Bank hires Carol Wadeson

Carol Wadeson recently joined Western State Bank in West Fargo as an information technology analyst.

She has more than 30 years of IT experience. She previously was a system manager and system administrator for Community First Technologies/Bank of the West.

Originally from Enderlin, N.D., she attended Northwest Technical College, Moorhead. She also serves as treasurer for Coburn Township in rural Leonard, N.D.


Two trainers hired at Xtreme Measures

Xtreme Measures, Fargo, has hired Charlie Sayers and Sheila Hermanson as professional trainers.

Both are also certified group fitness instructors at Xtreme Measures.
