Fargo city plows out in full force today; drivers asked to abide parking restrictionsFARGO – Taking advantage of the warmer weather that’s softening the snow and ice on city streets, crews will be out in force Monday plowing the roads, the city of Fargo said in a news release.
Crews will start with main arteries and then tackle side streets, as they work into the evening. Overnight, snow will be hauled out of downtown, the city said.
Drivers are asked to abide parking laws and move their vehicles when appropriate. Seasonal restrictions on nighttime parking, which are in effect until April 15, limit parking on certain streets between 1 and 7 a.m.
If you need to park your car overnight on a downtown street, the city asks you to use a designated parking facility available for free from 5 p.m. ot 8 a.m. These facilities include the following:
• 2nd Avenue North Lot
• 2nd Avenue South Lot
• 3rd Avenue Lot
• Civic Center Lot
• NP Avenue Lot
• 4th Street Lot
• Main Avenue Lot
• Island Park Ramp COVERED
