Style Profile: NDSU student looks for layers, function in wardrobe

FARGO – Hannah Daggett’s style fits her downtown Fargo job.

The 22-year-old North Dakota State University senior is a project coordinator associate at Kilbourne Group who keeps her look casual and functional.

I spotted Daggett at work wearing a layered ensemble perfect for brisk fall and winter days.

Describe your style. It’s classic, functional and a little country.

What are you wearing today? Lucky Brand sweater, Frye boots, Michael Kors watch and a Trends and Friends scarf (a business based in Frazee, Minn.).

How long does it take you to get ready in the morning? An hour, usually. It depends on if I do my hair.

Where do you get style inspiration? People on the street and Pinterest.

Where do you shop? T.J.Maxx, Apricot Lane, Nordstrom Rack, Macy’s and Target.

If money were no object, what fashion-related item would you buy? A piece of jewelry – something significant. Probably a watch or necklace.

What’s your favorite thing in your closet? These boots or my watches.

What would people be surprised to learn you have in your closet? A pair of neon Nike Blazer shoes that I wore to prom in high school.
