Moorhead man wins $30,000 in lotteryMOORHEAD – A man here won $30,000 in a Minnesota State Lottery scratch-off game earlier this month.
Brett Benedict of Moorhead won on Dec. 10 by playing the Moore Lucky Lines scratch game. He bought the game at Orton’s Moorhead Food Mart at 725 30th Ave. S., in Moorhead, a release from the Minnesota State Lottery said.
Since 1990, the lottery has raised more than $2.2 billion for state programs and $1.3 billion has gone to the state’s general fund to pay for education, public safety and health and human services, the release said.
