Weather Talk: Scientists claim to have found minus 135.8 temp

American scientists from the U.S. National Snow and Ice Center claim to have found evidence of a temperature of minus 135.8 degrees F near the Japanese Dome Fuji station, on a mountainous location on Antarctica called the Valkyrie Dome. It is generally accepted that the lowest measured temperature on Earth is minus 128.6 degrees F at the Russian Antarctic station, Vostok, in 1983.Word count: 199
