Vanity’s corporate office in Fargo hires four

Vanity in Fargo has hired Sophia Boche as a visual merchandiser, Melinda Miles as senior planner, Thomas Ebbighausen as an information technology systems analyst and Matt Williams as vice president of web development and customer acquisitions.

Boche has retail/visual experience from Revolver and Forever 21. She has a bachelor’s degree in apparel and textile with a minor in art from North Dakota State University.

Miles has retail management and buying/planning experience from Charlotte Russe, Forever 21 and Kids Quest/Cyber Quest. She has an associate’s degree in fashion merchandising from Brooks College.

Ebbighausen previously worked at Compucom and Premier Concepts and has a degree in computer science from Edmonds Community College.

Williams has many years of retail ecommerce experience with CRS Retail Systems and Coldwater Creek. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Northern Arizona University.


BCBSND hires Bucy, promotes Klinghagen

Michelle Bucy has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota in Fargo as manager of provider partnerships in the health network innovation division and Nichoel Klinghagen has been promoted to manager of claims administration in BlueCard operations and claims training at BCBSND.

Bucy has 17 years of experience in the health care industry. She previously worked in the office of corporate contracting at Sanford Health, Fargo, as a payor relations and contract administrator. She has an associate’s degree from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, and a bachelor’s degree in graphic communication from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Klinghagen joined BCBSND in 1999 and has held several positions, most recently as team leader of the federal employee program and North Dakota public employee’s retirement system claims units. She earned an associate’s degree in commercial/graphic art from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead.


Porter promoted to ad operations manager

Forum Communications Co. has promoted Jenny Porter to ad operations manager.

Porter was previously a sales automation specialist for the company and now oversees a staff of 23 people involved in advertising services for the company’s entire network.

Porter earned a journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She began working in The Forum newsroom in 1999 and later transferred to The Forum’s information systems department.


Rev. Bauer joins Lost and Found Ministry

The Rev. Tim Bauer has joined the Lost and Found Ministry, 111 7th St. S., Moorhead, where he will lead the Alcoholics Anonymous 12-Step Program and provide pastoral counseling.

Bauer is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. He previously served as a chaplain at Sanford Health.


Dacotah Paper hires territory sales rep

Dacotah Paper Co., Fargo, has hired Joel Witthoeft as the new Williston, N.D., territory sales representative.

He previously worked in automobile sales at Corwin Honda, Fargo.

Dacotah Paper serves customers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Iowa and Wisconsin.


Albrightson hired as proposal coordinator

Ulteig has hired Hannah Albrightson as a proposal coordinator in the marketing department. She will be working in the company’s Fargo office.

Albrightson previously worked as a marketing intern for Border States Electric, Fargo, and most recently was as an editorial assistant and account manager for a magazine publishing company.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and English from North Dakota State University.


Escobar named nurse manager at Bethany

Heidi Escobar has been named nurse manager for Cottonwood Court and Meadowlark Lane, the new skilled nursing units at Bethany on 42nd, Fargo. The 38-bed addition will open in January.

Escobar is a native of Hillsboro N.D., and she earned a licensed practical nurse certificate at Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead. She earned her registered nurse degree at MSCTC, Fergus Falls.

She started working at Bethany in 2008 as a clinical support nurse and has been a charge nurse on two units at Bethany on University. Most recently, she was an MDS coordinator.

Before joining Bethany, she was a certified nursing assistant at the Hillsboro Medical Center and at ManorCare and Elim Rehab and Care, both in Fargo.


Bagan Strinden Vision adds optometrist

Sarah Swanholm has joined the eye care team at Bagan Strinden Vision in Fargo.

Swanholm graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and she earned an optometry degree from Pacific University of Oregon, Forest Grove. She completed a hospital based/rehabilitative optometric residency at the Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Her areas of interest include primary eye care, ocular disease diagnosis and management, specialty contact lens fitting, pre- and post-operative care of refractive, cataract, corneal transplant and other surgical cases.


TMI hires talent acquisition coordinator

Jessie Azure has joined TMI Hospitality in Fargo as the talent acquisition coordinator.

Azure earned a bachelor’s degree in university studies from North Dakota State University and previously was the tobacco prevention coordinator for the Traill District Health Unit, Hillsboro, N.D.


Johnston hired as NHS assistant controller

National Hospitality Services, Fargo, has hired Chris Johnston as assistant controller.

Johnston has 28 years of accounting experience in public accounting, health insurance, auto dealership and hospitality industries.

He graduated from Mayville (N.D.) State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in Minnesota and North Dakota.
