Two appointed to national AICPA panels

Sarah DeVries and Scott Swanholm, partners in the Fargo office of Eide Bailly, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, have been appointed to panels of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the national professional organization for CPAs in the U.S.

DeVries was appointed to the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Expert Panel and Swanholm to the Corporations and Shareholders Taxation Technical Resource Panel.

DeVries has more than 18 years of public accounting experience, providing auditing and accounting services to clients in various industries, including manufacturing, retail and employee benefit plans.

Swanholm has been providing accounting services to a variety of industries for more than 25 years. He specializes in corporate and individual taxation, and assists clients with business and tax matters with a focus on the construction and manufacturing industries.


TNT Kid’s Fitness elects officers for 2013-14

TNT Kid’s Fitness and Gymnastics Academy in Fargo has elected new officers for 2013-14. Those elected include:

Tom McDougall, High Point Networks, president; Jodi Crouse, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, vice president; Jon Kretchman, Dealer Sites LLC, treasurer; and Nicole Hahn, Designer Smiles, secretary.

Other TNT board members include: Sherri Sandvig, Border States Electric; Danyel Johnson; Kevin Bucholz, Moore Engineering; Andy Obermoller, Results Unlimited; Annette Ambuehl, BW Insurance; and Mary Rohleder.


Schmalz appointed to ND Board of Nursing

Paula Schmalz, Fargo, a self-employed certified nurse anesthetist, has been appointed by North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple to the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Schmalz is an advanced practice registered nurse and is the first appointed to the newly-created board position for the advanced practice registered nurse.
