UND Writers Conference announces lineup
GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The UND Writers Conference has announced its lineup for the 45th conference, which will take place April 2-4 at the University of North Dakota.
This year’s theme is “Imagine: A Literary Festival on the Prairie.”
Authors attending this year include novelist Colson Whitehead, known for writing “Zone One” and “The Institutionist”; novelist and journalist Geoff Dyer, who wrote “The Color of Memory”; graphic memoirist Sarah Leavitt, known for her graphic memoir “Tangles: A Story About Alzheimer’s, My Mother, and Me”; novelist and art critic Jessica Lott, who wrote “The Rest of Us”; and UND alumnus and short story writer Brian Maxwell.
Former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky will also attend and perform “PoemJazz” with students from UND’s Jazz Ensemble.
