Neighbors: Can you help identify these three women?

If you can identify the women in these photos, you’ll win the gratitude of Sue O’Brien of Milton, Wis.

Sue writes that she grew up in Iowa, but some branches of her family tree were in North Dakota, and she has these pictures of three of the women, but she doesn’t know who they are.

One photo was taken at Haynes Photography, Fargo, Dakota Territory, one at Hamlin Photography, Casselton, N.D., and the third at McCracken Photography, which Sue learned was located in Buffalo, N.D., around 1914, then moved to Fargo.

“Over the years,” Sue says, “I’ve had Rasmussen, Schulz, Tesch and Marcks relatives move to your area, but I really feel these ladies probably are related to the Marcks family (maybe!).

“Now, someone says the names could be Macken or Dalluge. So I have a lot of relatives who migrated to that area for some reason. Maybe good farmland.”

That would do it, Sue.

Anyhow, anybody knowing who these women are will brighten Sue’s day by identifying them.
