Jack Morris to speak at Fargo Legion baseball banquet

FARGO – Jack Morris, the most valuable player in the 1991 World Series for the Minnesota Twins and a three-time World Series champion, will be the featured speaker at the Fargo American Legion Baseball’s “Red River Diamond Classic Baseball Banquet” to be held Jan. 27.

The banquet, which will also honor three Fargo Legion Hall of Fame inductees, will be held at The Venue at The Hub with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

The three Hall of Fame inductees are: Bill Ibach, a pitcher from 1979 to 1980 and coach from 1996-present; Eric Iverson, a player from 1991 to 1992; and Bruce Lytle, a player from 1962 to 1964.
