Letter: Countless lies from president

President Bill Clinton, whom I respected as a president but not as a good husband, was impeached for perjury and obstruction of justice. This was a result of commiting a sexual act in the White House and then lying about it. As far as I can see, the people who were hurt from what he did were his wife, daughter and a few others who in some way played a part in the poor judgment.

President Barack Obama has lied to the American people many times on many issues from the IRS, NSA and Obamacare. Millions and millions of people are being kicked off the health plans they were told by Obama that they could keep if they like them.

What does it take to impeach a president who lied about something that affects millions of Americans? They find their insurance policies have been canceled and are now forced to buy new insurance from the Obamacare marketplaces, which is impossible because the website isn’t working.

He has lied so many times, I can’t count them all. And he lied about serious things, such as how our ambassador to Libya was killed and all the problems and lies with Obamacare.

Clinton was impeached for lying about his sexual relationship with an intern. When will the American people wake up and realize that no matter how novel it is to have the first black president, at some point you have to look at the man and how he makes the office of the president look. Lying about a sexual relationship or lying about someone’s death that could have been prevented – which one is worse?

If Clinton deserved impeachment, what does Obama deserve? Please wake up, people.
