Two arrested in Jamestown stabbingJAMESTOWN, N.D. - Two Jamestown men were in custody after an altercation outside an apartment building Thursday resulted in a third Jamestown man being stabbed, police said.
Jamestown police Detective Sgt. Leroy Gross said Friday that the victim, 36, was airlifted to a hospital in Fargo from Jamestown Regional Medical Center for treatment of a stab wound received in the altercation. Police were called to the medical center at 4:19 p.m. Thursday after the man went there for treatment of his wound.
The victim was treated and released from the hospital in Fargo and was back in Jamestown on Friday, according to Gross.
Gross said two men, ages 35 and 26, were in custody after being interviewed about the incident. The names of all three men have not been released, as charges have not yet been filed, he said.
“This whole thing happened in less than 30 seconds,” he said.
Gross said police interviewed several witnesses to the altercation.
