Bennett’s 16 points pace Cal Poly in victory over UND

EUGENE, Ore. – Brian Bennett scored a game-high 16 points as Cal Poly defeated the University of North Dakota 70-43 in men’s basketball Friday in the first day of the Global Sports Hardwood Classic.

UND shot just 23.4 percent from the floor and 51.5 percent from the free-throw line. It will face Oregon at 5:30 p.m. CST today.
