Lemar tallies 21 points as Bison women take down Montana

LOS ANGELES – Brooke Lemar scored a game-high 21 points as the North Dakota State women’s basketball team won its opening game at the LA Westside Thanksgiving Classic with a 70-53 victory against Montana on Friday.

Miki Stephenson added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Bison (2-4).

NDSU will play in the tournament championship game at 5 p.m. CST today against either Loyola Marymount or UC Irvine.
