Bismarck teacher pleads not guilty to sex with boy
Susan Duursma waived her preliminary hearing Wednesday and went to arraignment where the 34-year-old entered a not guilty plea to three counts of felony corruption or solicitation of minors.
Duursma is accused of a sex act with a 15-year-old boy three times between March and July, in her home and in a vehicle.
Two days after being charged, the Bismarck School Board voted to suspend Duursma without pay and start the discharge process. The next step is a hearing before an administrative law judge.
Each count carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
