Fargo police investigate home invasionsFARGO – Police here are investigating two home invasions that occurred Sunday night that apparently are related.
In one case, police were called to the 2200 block of 17th Street South about 6:30 p.m. on a report that three to four individuals, one of them armed with a knife, had forced their way into an apartment and demanded property, according to Police Lt. Joel Vettel, who said police have established the case is drug related.
In the other case, three to four intruders forced their way into an apartment in the 4000 block of 18th Avenue South about 10:50 p.m. and demanded property, Vettel said, adding that few details about that case were available.
He said, however, that based on descriptions of suspects authorities believe the two cases are linked.
