UPDATE: Power restored after outage hit 2,600 in West Fargo

WEST FARGO – Power was restored to 2,600 Cass County Electric customers after an outage of a little less than an hour Friday morning after company officials said a contractor knocked into an overhead line at about 10:20 a.m. Jodi Bullinger, system engineer for the electric cooperative, said the knocked-out feeder runs south along Sheyenne Street by 52nd Avenue South.

The affected areas were primarily the Eagle Run and Westport Beach areas.
