Driver extricated after car lands upside down in watery ditch in Richland CountyWAHPETON, N.D. – A driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries Saturday when a vehicle left a road in Richland County and ended up overturned in a water-filled ditch.
According to a report from the Richland County Sheriff’s Office:
The incident was discovered about 2:30 p.m. Saturday when a deputy found a vehicle near Richland County Road 8 about 2 miles west of Highway 18.
The vehicle had lost control, fish-tailed on gravel and slid into a ditch where it came to rest on its roof and was partially submerged in water.
The driver was extricated by the Wyndmere Fire Department and taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge, Minn.
No other information was available.
