Cramer nominates three to military academiesBISMARCK – Congressman Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., has nominated three North Dakota students to U.S. military academies.
Those nominated are Jayce Gravdahl, West Fargo, a senior at West Fargo High School and the son of Theresa Gravdahl and Dave and Bev Gravdahl, U.S. Military Academy at West Point; Ariel Warren, Mohall, a senior at Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood High School and the daughter of David Warren and Amber Minor, U.S. Air Force Academy; and John Gasper, Bismarck, a senior at Bismarck High School and the son of Francis and Sabina Gasper, U.S. Naval Academy.
Students must be nominated to an academy by a member of Congress, the vice president or a service branch secretary. Final appointment decisions are made by the academies.
