Prairie Dog business has new owner

Kelly Norton is the new owner of Prairie Dog Boarding, Grooming and Canine Day Care, 5370 51st Ave. S., Fargo.

The business was previously owned by Lori Van Lutsen.

Business hours for the canine day care are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and by appointment Sunday.

Grooming appointments are available 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturday and Sunday by appointment.

Acme Tools launches AcmeRents.com

Acme Rents, a division of Acme Tools, has launched the AcmeRents.com website.

On the site, customers can access more than 60 equipment rental categories, check rental rates and shop the used equipment inventory.

Established in 1995, Acme Rents is located throughout North Dakota and north-central Minnesota with facilities in Grand Forks, Bismarck, Fargo and Minot and in Bemidji, Minn.

Gallery 4 welcomes new artist Jesse Olson

Jesse Olson, Fargo, has joined Gallery 4, 114 Broadway, Fargo.

He is a photographer and poet specializing in nature scenes. Olson’s art can be seen at the gallery from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Business changed to Street Rod Innovations

Jon Husebye has changed the name of his business at 1701 1st Ave. N., Fargo, to Street Rod Innovations, a custom fabrication and upholstery shop.

Bell State named a best bank to work for

Bell State Bank & Trust has been named one of the Best Banks to Work For by America Banker Magazine and Best Companies Group.

The full Best Banks to Work For list is featured in the November issue of American Banker and is available online at AmericanBanker.com.

Banks with at least 50 employees working in the United States were considered, and, in all, just 35 of the thousands of eligible banks nationwide achieved Best Bank status.

RDO Equipment acquires Water Tech

RDO Equipment Co., Fargo, has acquired Water Tech Ag Supply, a California-based company that provides agricultural irrigation solutions ranging from aluminum pipe, PVC pipe, booster pumps and sand media filtration system rentals, to irrigation design services and pipe and pump repair.

The company has locations in Brawley, Escondido, Indio, Oxnard, Salinas, and Santa Maria, all in California, and in Yuma, Ariz.

Doing business in China topic of free seminar

Minnesota State University Moorhead will host Global Innovation: Doing Business in China from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in MSUM’s Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom.

A panel of regional experts will discuss from their personal experiences the opportunities and risks of doing business in China. Other speakers via webcast will include Ambassador Ramu Damodaran, United Nations, and Vivek Pathek, World Bank.

There will also be a student panel, faculty presentations and information on MSUM’s Doing Business in China certificate program from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday in MSUM’s Center for Business.
