Ada-Borup’s comeback falls short against Nevis

ST. PAUL – Ada-Borup’s comeback bid fell short as it lost 3-2 to Nevis in Friday’s consolation round of the Minnesota Class 1A state volleyball tournament at the Xcel Center.

Ada-Borup, which lost 22-25, 20-25, 25-18, 25-18, 15-17, saw its season end with a 23-10 record.

Ada-Borup held a five-point lead in the final set before Nevis rallied to win. Ada-Borup was playing without hitter Heidi Eggen, who suffered an ankle injury at the start of the final set.
